Chanteuse du duo punk cabaret The Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer venait présenter le 23 octobre 2008 son premier album solo à la Boule Noire (Paris). Dans une salle archi comble, la chanteuse/pianiste a passé en revue son album Who Killed Amanda Palmer mais également quelques chansons de son groupe et des reprises. Ainsi, Amanda Palmer a-t-elle proposé ses versions personnelles d'Umbrella (Rihanna), Creep (Radiohead) au yukulélé, Living on a Prayer (Bon Jovi), Elisa (Serge Gainsbourg) ou encore Amsterdam (Jacques Brel) à l'accordéon. Entourée d'une troupe venue d'Australie, Amanda Palmer a convaincu sans mal son public par sa voix et ses chansons fortes en émotions. Nous étions sur place pour ramener des photos de cet évènement.
