Dennis Coles, alias Ghostface Killah, est né le 9 mai 1970 à Staten Island (New York). Il se fait connaître au cours des années 90 au sein du Wu-Tang Clan. Le crew sort son premier album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) en 1993. Deux ans plus tard, Ghostface Killah est remarqué pour sa participation à l'album solo de son compère Raekwon Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. En 1996, le rappeur sort son premier album solo Ironman. Parallèlement à sa carrière avec le Wu-Tang Clan, Ghostface Killah revient en solo en l'an 2000 avec Supreme Clientele. Suit Bulletproof Wallets en 2001. Trois ans plus tard, Ghostface Killah signe chez le label Def Jam. Il livre dans la foulée un nouvel album solo baptisé The Pretty Toney Album. Suivent les albums Fishscale (2006) et More Fish (2006). En 2007, Ghostface Killah livre la mixtape Hidden Darts. Suit l'album The Big Dough Payback (2007). En 2009, le rappeur revient avec Ghostdini: The Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City.
